If you're dropping by this page and are new to the blog then let me start by saying Howdy and thanks for checking out my blog.

The first thing you should know is, whether you have just discovered my little ol' blog or you're an avid reader, all product reviews on The 6 Inch Stilettos are my own opinions and do not reflect the opinions of others.

I mean, who elses would they be?

When I first started my blog I had no idea that I would be here almost 4 years later or that I could have built the relationships that I have done brands and companies. I, like everyone else, love beauty products and have spent a fair bit of money (more than I would like to admit) on making sure I'm in the know and on top of what's hot as well as what's not. However, over the years as I have built relationships with the PR teams on brands, they have sent me samples of products for me to try so I can give you all an honest and open review of them. This does not mean that a sample will receive a glowing review from me.

Shock! Horror!

Yes, I accept samples for consideration for features, reviews and giveaways as well as offers of sponsored posts from PR agencies and in-house press offices.

If I do feature a product that has been sent to me then I will disclose this with a note at the bottom of the post to state it. Similarly, if I write a sponsored post (i.e. a post that I have received payment for), I will disclose this with a note at the bottom of the post.

This will be actioned on all posts from Monday 6th June 2011 for regular posts and Thursday 18th October 2012 for sponsored content. If you have any questions about posts prior to these dates then please feel free to contact me.
