Top Picks: Glossy Posse

I'm sure you all know I've got quite the penchant for painting my nails at least once a day or every other day, at a push, so finding a quick drying top coat that not only does what it's meant to but is also super glossy is a must. I've gone through far too many bottles of Seche Vite - well, half bottles because we all know it goes gloopy at the half way mark - so I set out to find some alternatives that do the same thing or better.

Say hello to the contenders of the Glossy Posse:
L-R: China Glaze Fast Forward Top Coat, Revlon Quick Dry Top Coat and Dr. LeWinn's Renunail Top Coat

*China Glaze Fast Foward Top Coat - Available at BeautyBay, currently on sale for £6.80
This is, hand down, the best top coat I have ever tried because it does exactly what you want it to and in less than 5 minutes. Quick drying? Check. Insanely glossy? Check. Makes your polish last longer? Check. The glossy finish in pretty much all of my Instagram paintjob photos in the last 3 months are because of this top coat and I have no intention in changing it any time soon.

Revlon Quick Dry Top Coat - Available at Boots, £6.49
Before I was introduced to the China Glaze Fast Forward Top Coat, this was my topcoat of choice. Having first received it in a goodie bag from a press day, I didn't think much of it when I first used it but that soon changed after I had a bit more of a play around with it because it needs a slightly thicker layer instead of a thin one. I've been through about 5 of these and would still be using it if I hadn't found the China Glaze one. The only problem I found with this is that after about 4 days of wear, random cracks started to appear in my paintjob making it look like I'd had it on for weeks.

*Dr. LeWinn's Renunail Top Coat - Available at Dr. LeWinn's, £11.00
Another really strong contender against Seche Vite, this badboy might not say 'quick drying' on the bottle but it really is as it'll have you ready and raring to go in about 5-10 minutes with a glossy finish to boot. You do need to give your nails a couple of minutes to naturally dry before going in with the top coat because it'll pick up the colour - the pink tinge in the bottle is evidence of that - but apart from that, it's one of my favourites that I rate.

So... Because I'm so nice and I like to treat you all once in a while, the lovely folk at China Glaze have given me a Fast Forward Top Coat to give away!

To enter, you have to leave a comment on this post telling me what your favourite nail polish of the moment is. Simple as. If you want to hit the 'Follow' button on GFC then that would be swell but it is not a requirement to enter.
