Nail Saviour: Dr. LeWinn's Renunail Nail Strengthener

I often get asked how I get my nails so long or what nail strengthener I use because, if you've seen my Instagram, I usually have quite long talons. I've tried loads of different products but there is only one product that is worth parting your money with and that is Dr. LeWinn's Renunail Nail Strengthener. It is the best nail strengthening and growth product I've used because it does exactly what it's meant to and actually works.

Before I go in to the ins and outs of the product I'm going to add right now that Dr. LeWinn's is a client of mine BUT that doesn't influence my post whatsoever. I was first introduced to the brand way before they became a client after receiving it in a goodie bag at an awards show and I was converted from then on. Having them as a client now is just a bonus because it means that when I tell people about the Strengthener, I really and truly mean it.

Anyway, moving on...

The 30mL bottle is more than what you usually get with the average OPI or Sally Hansen nail strengtheners so it is worth every penny of its £17.50 price tag. Now I know a lot of people might think that spending £17.50 on a nail strengthener is a bit much but it lasts for ages and once you see the difference in your nails, you'll forget that you actually had a moan about the price in the first place.

My nails usually look like this:
You know how I love me some insanely bright nail polish colours!

But after an intense few weeks of helping out at weddings, my nails now look like this:
Sad, I know.

I miss my talons but I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't slightly relieved to have them down to nothing so I can start my Renunail 4 week challenge from the start and give them a break from colour while I'm at it.

"What is the Renunail 4 week challenge?", I hear you ask. Well, let me explain...

The idea is that you apply two coats of the strengthener on the first day and then further apply one coat every day for the next 5 days. Remove it all on the 7th day and repeat it again for the next three weeks. After the 4 weeks are up, your nails are guaranteed to be longer and stronger. Simple as.

I'm sure a lot of you are thinking that applying this every day for 4 weeks is a right chore but it's a chore that takes 5 minutes of your day and will make the world of difference to your nails. You also need to massage some oil in to your cuticles so they don't get dehydrated and go all ropey but you should be doing that anyway so it won't be too much hassle adding that to your routine.

Over the next 4 weeks, I will post an update on the blog to show you exactly how my nails are looking and the difference that is being made so you can judge for yourselves whether this a product for you or not. Join me on this little nail care adventure...

If you want to buy a Renunail Nail Strengthener and do the challenge with me, you can pick it up from the Dr. LeWinn's website for £17.50 or as a handy duo pack which comes with a Nourishing Oil for £22.00.

Have any of you tried this before?

Amrita xoxo

9 stiletto lovers had something to say::

  1. This product is definitely on my list of things to buy. Having had acrylic nails removed a few months ago I'm pleased to report the damaged nail is nearly grown out so it's time to start looking after the fresh and undamaged nails.

Love it, the same as me, I've been busy redecorating and clearing out blah blah and my nails just wasn't enjoying it. I'm currently also restarting - got a nice fresh bottle and it's the only thing I will continue to repurchase cos it works time and time again X
