Review & Swatches: MeMeMe Boho Balm Cheek & Lip Tint

Ever since my last MeMeMe blog post, it seems as though a lot of the stands have had a massive shake-up (and wipe down, might I add) so you don't mind actually touching the products or adding a few in to the basket. The Superdrug store closest to me has eliminated all needs for a shake up and wipe down by getting rid of the brand altogether, which is a bit crap now because it actually had my interest after I reviewed their lipstick range. Anyway, I digress.

MeMeMe launched their Boho Balm a few months ago and I've been using them ever since they arrived.

I was sent Coral Taupe and Pink Rouge which describes the shades exactly so there won't be any shocking surprises when you open the tin.

Swatches:
Coral Taupe is made up of a brownish nude and coral shade that can be used on both cheeks and lips, depending on what kind of look you're going for. I've not really bothered with the "taupe" shade because it doesn't actually suit me but the coral is perfect for cheeks and lips so that's been getting a lot of love.
Pink Rouge is the complete opposite of Coral Taupe as the colours are a lot more vibrant and pigmented. The light pink is the ideal "can't-be-bothered" cheek shade while the darker pink is ideal for giving your lips a quick "pow" depending on how heavy you go on application. Both shades could work for cheeks and lips, making this Boho Balm slightly more easier to work with compared to Coral Taupe.

The texture of the product is very creamy so be careful if going in heavy handed as it's always easy to overdo it but can be a bit of a pain trying to tone it down. The pigmentation varies, as you can see from the swatches, so try and find a happy medium of both lip and cheek so you don't look like you attacked your face with a painbrush. The staying power isn't too bad either and I found that I could go a good 3 or 4 hours without having to reapply my blush or add more colour on to my lips so it's the perfect 'night out' product.

MeMeMe Boho Balms are priced at £6.50 and available from the MeMeMe website or selected Superdrug stores nationwide.

Until next time...
