A-England is brand that I had heard loads about and seen tons of swatches of but I hadn't really looked at in detail. All I knew was that they had some beautiful nail polishes and that you could buy them online, but that's about it. It was a conversation with Marina of Makeup4All that actually made me wander over to the website to have a look at the product and start putting a wish list together of the polishes I wanted. I've got a thing about holographic polishes so I knew that I was going to be adding a few to my collection and a random 50% off deal was enough to sway me so I added Tristam and Ascalon to my online basket and waited patiently for them to arrive.
This is Tristam...
My camera (Canon 1100D) didn't quite pick up the holo particles on first shot but you can definitely see how gorgeous it is in person. Tristam is a denim blue polish with tiny holo flecks that will have you sitting there staring at your nails for a long time before you even leave the house.
Here's a closer look:
How amazingly beautiful is this nail polish!?
I probably could have gotten away with one coat because it went on smoothly with an opaque finish but I wanted to add an extra coat because I figured that extra holo couldn't hurt anyone.
If you're in the market for some new nail polishes and want to try something different than the standard O.P.I or Barry M, I highly recommend checking out A-England polishes, but I warn you that you might get addicted because they are so damn pretty!
Are there any other shades I should try out from A-England? I want the whole collection of holographic polishes so I think I might just start with those.
Until next time...
