Review & Swatches: Lily Lolo Natural Lipsticks

I've never really given mineral or natural lipsticks a chance and it might be because the ones I've used have this dodgy smell, the texture is rubbish or the colours just don't tickle my fancy but when these arrived in the office last week, they proved me wrong. Lily Lolo is a mineral makeup brand that has a huge range of products, from blushers to brushes and eye shadows to eye liners. They launched 6 new natural lipsticks on Wednesday so I thought I'd do a quick post with swatches so you get to see them before they go anywhere else.

The Lippies:
All of the lipsticks are wearable shades with a mix of neutrals, pinks and reds.

Intense Crush

Romantic Rose

Demure

French Flirt

Desire

Love Affair

Swatches:
The lipsticks have a lustre texture and are slightly sheer so you can layer them up if you wanted a more vibrant finish. In the photo above they were swatched just once on my arm so you get the idea about how sheer they are and how much colour you could get with one swipe. My favourite shades are definitely Romantic Rose and Desire but they all are great colours and have fantastic longevity on the lips.

Lily Lolo lipsticks are priced at £7.99 each and available from the Lily Lolo website.

Have any of you tried anything from the brand? I know some of you have tried the bronzers, especially the one in Waikiki which is proving to be quite popular. Let me know what your favourite products are and if I should try anything in particular.

Until next time...

hey sweet, do you mind removing the 'captcha/word verification' setting? Since Blogger's recent changes, they also upgraded the strenght and difficulty of the captcha making it even harder to decipher. If you are concerned by spamming, you can still choose to set your comments on 'approval only' maybe? I hope this doesn't sound too cheeky for a request. It would make commenting a whole lot easier :) xx
