NOTD: Orly 'Ancient Jade'

I can't believe I've never blogged about this nail polish considering I've owned it for a while and had completely forgotten about it until recently. Orly 'Ancient Jade' was released with the Precious collection back in 2011 and was spot on for the colour blocking fashion trend at the time. Magazines went a bit mad with the colour blocking trend and rightly so, it is one of the easiest looks to pull off. Unfortunately, the same can't be said about the whole clashing trend *glances down at outfit and sighs*

Anyway, Ancient Jade is a mint green creme and was so easy to apply that I wish all nail polishes had the exact same consistency!

The first coat of Ancient Jade went on really easily with no streaks which meant that the second coat was perfect and didn't need any more than that. The polish lasted for about 5 days before I saw any tip wear and it probably would have lasted longer but I can't take wearing the same colour polish for any longer than 5 days so I had to remove it and apply something else.
Orly nail polishes are really good value for money as they are £7.50 for 18ml which makes them one of the biggest, if not the biggest, bottles in the nail world. The rubber coated lid makes it easy to hold while the flexible bristles mean that the polish is easy to manipulate and apply - Big thumbs up from me!

Ancient Jade by Orly isn't available on BeautyBay but you might be able to hunt it down on eBay, or you can pick up Mint Green by Barry M which is always a popular shade during Spring.

What do you think of Ancient Jade? Are there any Orly nail polishes that you think I should buy?

Until next time...
