Well, it seems that my twittering rambles have gotten through to some of you out there as I found out today that I have been "longlisted" in the Marie Claire Blog & Twitter awards in the 'Beauty Twitter of The Year' category!
*insert happy dance here*
I know there have been loads of tweets and blog posts as of late about magazine blog awards and how they boost the magazines' credentials more than the bloggers' but do you know what, I'm still a happy bunny. I've never been shortlisted or "longlisted" in Marie Claire's case so this is a pretty big deal for me and I'm not going to shy away from it or act like it isn't. I've been tweeting for about two years now so for some of my fabulous followers to go and nominate me is really sweet and I am very grateful.
There are some great tweeters in the same category as me and I'm sure they'll all be plugging away too but if anyone who comes across this post, whether a long time reader or a newbie, I would love it if you would go and vote for me.
