My Top 10 Blushers

Somewhere along my journey of makeup purchasing, I've started to accumulate plenty of blush products and have nice little collection now which I add to regularly and seeing as my Top 10 Nail Polishes post was quite popular, I thought I would do another but on my top 10 blushers.
Everyone has different tastes with blushers and not all shades suit all skintones so I think it is important to have a play around and find the shade that suits you. For example, as much as I love orange blush and cheek products, I find the shade quite hard to pull off so I tend to stick to pink and peach tones as they compliment my skintone best. The following blushers are the ones that I always reach for and although I have plenty to choose from, these are the ones that never let me down as they always work for me, regardless of whether I'm slighly tanned or pale as a ghost. Okay, so the latter but is a bit of an exaggeration but I'm sure you get my drift!

The Top 10:
These are in no particular order but they're all just so damn pretty!
The first five...
From left to right:
1. *NARS Orgasm (as part of the limited edition Blush Bronzer Trio)
2. MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in Stereo Rose - Limited Edition
3. MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in Petticoat - Limited Edition
4. MAC Blush Ombre in Ripe Peach - Limited Edition
5. Illmasqua Powder Blush in Tweak

The bottom five...
From left to right:
1. MAC Powder Blush in Sur - Limited Edition
2. MAC Powder Blush in Fleur Power
3. *Benefit Bella Bamba
4. MAC Gel Blush in Just A Pinch - Limited Edition
5. Sleek MakeUP Blush in Rose Gold - Bloody hard to get hold of but not limited edition!

Clearly, I have a bit of a thing for MAC cheek products and have quite a few more in my collection. I don't know what it is about MAC blushers but they are always the first place I go when I want new cheek products. I do want to rummage through some of shelves at Superdrug or Boots and see if I can turn over any hidden high street gems but whenever I'm in those aisles, my eyes always dart to mascaras or nail polishes. If any of you can recommend some good high street blushers then please let me know!

If you would like to see swatches of any of the blushers in this post, just let me know and I'll get right on it.

Are you loving any particular cheek products at the moment? If you are then make sure you leave a comment in the box to let me know which ones they are.. They might enable me to pick a couple up.

Until next time...
Keep swivelling those hips in your

NOTE: Products marked with * are PR samples

  2. Stereo Rose looks gorgeous! The ombre blushers look so interesting too. I like MAC blush in Melba, it's a dark peachy/red :) xxx

  3. Hi Amy,
You should keep an eye out on blog sales because I've seen quite a few people selling Stereo Rose and/or Petticoat so you might be able to pick it up on the cheap.
I have heard people talking highly of MAC Melba so I'll definitely keep that in mind as my next purchase but I have a feeling that it will be similar to the Sur blush in the post.xx

  4. I'm so jealous! I couldn't get stereo rose when it came out last year. About 2 months ago I was pretty sure of my top 10 blushes but now that it's Summer i'm starting to love different things...

  6. All of them are sooo pretty! I do think I need to buy some more blushers! I have such pale skin that most don't seem to suit me!

  7. Thanks for the comments girls.
Everyone should definitely try Fleur Power by MAC - There is no shimmer at all and it is subtle enough for a rosey cheek :) x
