002 - Products I'm Loving Right Now

The last few weeks have been quite manic for me as I've had weddings, parties and all sorts going on but instead of rummaging around through my make-up and beauty product collection, I've been reaching for the same products over and over again. As much as I love trying new colour combinations and finding products that I had forgotten I own, sometimes it is a whole lot easier using the products that I know will work for me and won't let me down.

This is what I've been using:
My daily or evening routine includes all of these products without fail so they are definitely worth your money!

1. Sleek MakeUP 'Oh So Special' Palette - Available from Superdrug stores and Sleek online
I'm so glad this palette is part of the permenant collection for Sleek because it really is a palette full of gorgeous shades that are not only wearable and versatile but they suit every skin tone. There were plenty of blog posts on this palette when it first launched last month and I've yet to read a bad thing about it. If you've been sitting on the fence about whether or not to pick up this palette, just do it - You won't regret it!

2. *Sienna X Extend and Perfect Gradual Tan - Available from Sienna X online
I'm a complete tanorexic. I avoid self tanners like the plague even though I own quite a few different ones and it's all because I'm too scared to go down that route. My biggest worry is that I'll end up making a complete mess of myself and end up looking like Ross from Friends.
You know the episode I'm on about right? No? Well, let me refresh your memory:

Yeah, that is probably something that would happen to me. Stop laughing!

Anyway, the Sienna X Gradual Tan is the perfect solution for all those other people out there who avoid self tanners because it builds slowly and looks really natural which is what I love about it. Also, there are no dodgy streaks and as long as you apply the product evenly, you're good to go.

3. Garnier 2 in 1 Tinted Eye Roll-on - Available from supermarkets, Boots and Superdrug stores/websites
Since the weather has been perking up lately, I've been avoiding heavy foundations and concelaers and just using my Garnier Tinted Eye Roll-on religiously to disguise the dark shadows under my eyes. It definitely doesn't cover them up like a concealer would but if you want something quick to apply and lightweight, then this is a great product to have on hand. I believe it comes in 4 shades now but as there are no testers of the product, you'll have to guess which one is likely to suit you. I went with the Medium to Medium Dark Skin Tone and it's a great match for me so I think the other shades in the range might not go as dark as the packaging would suggest.

4. *Eucerin Dry Skin Intensive Foot Cream 10% Urea - Available from Boots stores and online
I'm the last person to blog about feet but seeing as it's flip flop and sandal season, everyone should be keeping an eye on their tootsies and making sure they are groomed. I hate sitting on the tube or walking around and catching an unwanted glimpse of fugly feet so I wish more people would pay more attention to them. Personally, I feel that our hands and feet are probably the most abused parts of our bodies as they have to deal with the heavy lifting, rough handling, ill-fitting shoes and all sorts but not everyone pays them much attention. I have been using the  Eucerin Intensive Foot Cream every other day/night for the last couple of months and I love it. My feet are super soft and there is not even a flake of dry skin in sight - not that there was before!

5. Sleek MakeUP Shimmer Blush in Rose Gold - Available from Superdrug stores (if you're lucky!)
The mythical blush from Sleek MakeUP has been in my collection for quite some time but I never really understood the excitement and hype around it until recent months. It seems that Sleek created these blushers in limited quantities so if you had one, you were considered very lucky. I've been having a bit of a love affair with this blush for a few weeks now and think it might just be one of the prettiest blushers I own because it has the right mix of peachy pink hues with a gold highlight and looks ah-may-zing with a sunkissed glow.

So there you have it!
