Ever since Bourjois announced that Kate Middleton adorned her nails with Rose Lounge from their So Laque! Ultra Shine collection, there has been a bit of a frenzy for it. Twitter went in to overdrive with all the tweets and Blogger near enough collapsed from all the excitement of such a bargain nail polish being worn by the new Princess. I tried my hardest to not give in and buy this nail polish for as long as I could but I gave in last week and picked it up from my local Superdrug.
This is Rose Lounge...
The palest pink that I own and one of the prettiest shades I've seen lately.
I'm not a big fan of baby pink but this is not your average light pink shade and only has the slightest hint of colour so it's perfect for fuss free days and occasions. The consistency is quite thin but if you're looking for a nail polish that you can get with doing one coat of, then this is the answer. I, however, prefer a slightly thicker coating so I made do with 3 coats and a layer of Seche Vite to get the finish I wanted. The brush is great as it doesn't drag the nail polish which means no dodgy streaking and it's the perfect length to cover the nail.
This was the first Bourjois nail polish I've tried from the So Laque! Ultra Shine range and I can safely say that it definitely won't be the last!
Bourjois So Laque! Ultra Shine nailpolishes are priced at £5.99 and you can buy them from your local Boots or Superdrug.
