NOTD: Topshop 'Green Room'

It feels like a while since I last blogged and as I try and hunt down my mojo, I thought I'd do a quick NOTD post to show you what I've been playing with lately. My previous NOTD post with Filthy Gorgeous 'Brill' actually impressed me so much because I had it on my nails for about 5-6 days and had NO chip and very minimal tip wear. However, wearing the same shade of nailpolish for more than 3 days is a big no-no for me so after 5, it was definitely time for a change.

I saw this number on one of my lovely PR buddies, Tash, at the NARS event so I knew that I had to have it.

This is 'Green Room' by Topshop.

It's definitely a green-turquoise but the image above makes it look more blue which is really annoying but whatever... It's not the first time my camera has completely altered the way a nailpolish looks.

Anyway, I was slighly unimpressed with the consistency of the nailpolish compared to other Topshop ones that I've used as it was literally like water in a bottle. Well, the first coat went on like watered down paint and the second coat wasn't any better but it was only after the third coat (or was it the fourth?) that I finally saw the colour coming together and looking like it should have done.

I painted on Wednesday night and have already seen tip wear so I'm guessing that after 5 days of wear, there will be chips galore.

Have any of you used this shade and had the same problem?
