NOTD: Revlon Scented Nailpolish in 'Bubblegum'

So these Revlon scented nailpolishes have had a bit of a mixed response from what I gather on blogs and Twitter. Some of you have said that you love them while others have said that they're just gimmicky as they can't smell anything after a day or two. I'm torn between the two. I definitely don't love them but I kind of like the fact that they have a scent, although this isn't evident when you're applying it and it makes me wonder about how many more chemicals have been added to them for the scent to be apparent.

Anyway, this is Bubblegum...
It's a really pretty hot pink and smells like watermelon bubblegum... That Bubblicious kind that is really fruity when you first bite into it but after a couple of chews it tastes like crap. Haha!
Unlike a few others, I could still smell the bubblegum scent after a couple of days and that is with a top coat of Seche Vite too so I'm not sure why nobody else has been able to. Maybe I have an incredible sense of smell.. Who knows!?

I wonder how long it will take other nailpolish brands to jump on the scented train...

Until next time...

7 stiletto lovers had something to say::

  1. Lovely colour and the scent sounds gorgeous!

  2. The colour is really pretty but scented nail polishes seem a bit pointless unless you want to be seen sniffing your hands all day long!

  3. Really pretty color and the scent sounds like it smells good! xx

  4. I've got the Candyfloss one and that smells for days :-)

  5. Oh I love this colour . On the wishlist it goes

  6. Thanks for all the comments girls!!!
I agree with Cherry that the scented feature is a bit pointless because it's not like we sniff our nails but it is a different touch.
The colour got quite a few compliments so I'll probably be wearing it quite a bit during the summer months.x
