NOTD: Filthy Gorgeous 'L-Jay' & A Little Remix

Since last week I must have changed my nail polish a few times (nothing new there!) and have worn bright blues to bright pinks, this week is all about peach. I've been in and out of love with peach nail polishes since last year when I picked up Models Own Fuzzy Peach but was a little disappointed when it went on more orange than I would have liked. Anyway, I've seen quite a few peach nail polishes doing the rounds so I thought I'd throw another one into the pot.

This is L-Jay by Filthy Gorgeous...
It's an opaque peach and has the right amount of "pop" to make it catch a couple of longing glances from passing people. I love Filthy Gorgeous nailpolishes because the consistency is great and you only ever need two coats of a colour for it to give a nice even finish without the dreaded streaks or thick application.
Some of you may notice that the top of my nailpolish is all black as opposed to the silver and black lace print that you've seen before... Well that is because this was a pre-sample sample, if that makes sense, which landed on my desk back in December before the range was even available at the Filthy Gorgeous counter in Debenhams or on the Debenhams website.

If you're wondering what the little remix is, see below:
I'm not a big fan of crackle nail polishes and like everybody else, I think they are so done and old but I still couldn't resist buying the new blue Instant Nail Effects polish by Barry M Cosmetics in Superdrug yesterday. I haven't used the original black Instant Nail Effects nail polish since I first purchased it last year but that didn't stop me from picking up this one too. The beauty freak inside of me just had to have it!

Close up:

Please ignore the remaining bits of polish stuck around my cuticle and the disgusting state of my cuticles too. I know they look terrible so try not to pay them too much attention.
I really dislike the matte finish of the crackle top coat so I put a clear top coat over it which makes it look a whole lot better, in my opinion.

What do you lot think? Is the peach shade tickling your fancy or did the remix just ruin it all?

Until next time...
Keep swivelling those hips in your
