Indian OOTN & EOTN 10

Hey campers!

This is the last Indian OOTN from the wedding bonanza last week but fear not because I will have another one for you on Sunday as I have the second part of the wedding tomorrow. Woooooooooo!
I'm sure some of you are getting a bit fed up with me parading my Indian clothes on here but I think I prefer them to normal OOTD posts because I'm actually not that exciting every day. Haha.

Anyway, as this was the main day of the whole wedding shabang, I had to go out with a bang... and this is what I wore.

A bottle green sari with a brocade blouse to go with it.

As the sari was completely plain, it meant that I could choose any colour to accent it and I went for a classic bottle green and gold brocade blouse which was designed by me and made by my aunt.

I know it still looks really simple but when I turn around...

Not so simple anymore!
I love doing something different with my sari blouses and because I quite like my back, I don't mind showing it off in barely there tops.
If you click on the photo and enlarge it, you'll notice the big golden/orange brooch in the middle of my top which was the extra touch to what would have been a simple sari and blouse.

I received so many compliments on the blouse because it is so unique and I think my aunt just secured herself another 15 clients as she was the one who put my design together and created the beauty :)

Oh, I also have another treat for you lot in the form on a photo of my eye makeup. If you follow me on Twitter, you may have seen my stressed out tweets about what sort of eye makeup I should so with the sari. I was stuck between bold lips and neutral eyes or smoky eyes and neutral lips...
This is what I went for:

I pulled out my trusty Urban Decay NYC Book of Shadows and got to work with golds and greens to create this smoky look.

I may do a tutorial post on how to do the look but I'm guessing that it's pretty straight forward once you know what colours you're using.
What do you lot think?

Until next time...

Keep swivelling those hips in your
