Indian OOTN 9

Hey all.

I haven't posted since Monday due to the fact that I have the nasty throat lurgies but I decided that I would muster up the strength to get my blogging mojo back!

Carrying on from my Indian outfit of the day/night bonanza that I'm bombarding you with, this was another outfit from the big wedding week last week.
There was no particular theme for this party but I thought I'd stick with the bright colours anyway.

I went for a bright orange and turquoise affair.

Although this is probably one of my most simplest Indian outfits as there is no hand embroidery at all, it is still a pretty suit because the colours are so eye-catching and "in your face".

Jewellery was kept to a minimum for this outfit and I opted for some blue studs in my ears and gold bangles. I also kept my makeup very minimum for this event as I knew I was going to be going to be stepping it up a notch the following day so I went for flicks of black liquid liner, lashings of mascara and a nude-pink lip colour.

I don't know how many of you have noticed but I tried something different with my hair at this event. OK, that's a lie. I didn't try doing something, my cousin did. I mentioned that I was getting bored of straight hair so she whisked me upstairs and weaved her GHD straightners in and out of my mane before leaving me with what you see above. Needless to say, I love it!
My hair is dead straight so I completely embraced the curly-wavy look with open arms because it gave me more bounce in my hair and my step. I tried to recreate the look at home with my straightners but had no joy but I now have the Babyliss Waving Wand to work the magic for me so fingers crossed it does.

There are 2 more Indian OOTN to come so look out for those but I will try and get some beauty-related posts up asap!

Until next time...

Keep swivelling those hips in your

3 stiletto lovers had something to say::

  1. I love curls too! And Babyliss Conical Wand makes it so much easier.

  2. I haven't tried the conical wand (is that something different?), I've got the Waving Wand... It's an oval shaped barrel as opposed to a round one..x
