My Top 5 Repurchases

Hi all.

Seeing as one of the conditions for my giveaway is for you lot to tell me what you're most repurchased items are, I thought it would only be fair for me to show you what mine are.

I have a long list of repurchases but these are the ones that never fail to impress me every time I buy them:

Batiste Dry Shampoo in Fresh
I've been using good ol' Batiste Dry Shampoo for a good 5 years now and I remember when it only used to come in the one scent. Now, you can get so many different types of Batiste that I can't keep up with it!

MAC Powder Blush in Fleur Power
This blusher (well, not the one pictured but this shade!) was my first ever MAC product and probably my first ever 'grown up' product way back when. Since then, I think I've gone through about 3-4 of blushers in Fleur Power and don't see me forgetting about it any time soon.

Max Factor Kohl Pencil
I think this has to be one of my favourite black pencil eyeliners. Ever. It goes on jet black and really stays in place compared to some of the other more expensive eyeliners.

The Body Shop Vitamin E Face Mist
Everyone should own a face mist regardless of if they wear makeup or not. I've been buying The Body Shop face mist for years but used to pick up the Vitamin C one until I was introduced to the Vitamin E mist. It's the easiest way to perk your face up without having to retouch your makeup and it's great to travel with.

Lancome Eau Micellaire Douceur
The Lancome express cleansing water is one of the BEST cleansers that I have used to date, and I've gone through my fair share. A couple of squirts on to a clean cotton wool pad and it'll take all your makeup off, even thick cakey foundation and all sorts. I've gone through 3 of these so far because I use it even when I haven't worn any makeup just to be all squeaky clean. Love it!

Other products that I repurchase but didn't include are:
- Dove Moisturising Body Cream
- Pantene Aqua Light Shampoo & Conditioner
- Simple Sensitive Skin face wipes
- Cutex Strengthening Nail Polish Remover

I'm there are more but I really can't remember them!

If you haven't told me what your most repurchased product is yet, then head over to the GIVEAWAY and drop your comment in plus try your hand at winning some NARS goodies :-)

Until next time...

7 stiletto lovers had something to say::

  1. I love batiste but never tried the fresh one, I love Blush! It smells amazing have you tried that one? I havent seen Fleur Power before but it reminds me of Springsheen/Style, is it like them? xx

  2. That Lancome cleanser looks interesting, I might have to try some.. Ive got the cream cleanser and the toner by Lancome but never tried the 'water' one.

  3. I've been buying the transparent Umberto Gianinni dry shampoo for a while now simply because it works well and I can't be bothered to switch since the last two brands I tried (Mark Hill and James Brown) all left me disappointed. However, I should probably give the Batiste a go since it's cheaper!

I love Lancome's bifacial cleansing oil but haven't tried the cleansing water...should also give it a go!

Do you use the Body Shop spray to set your makeup? I was told it was for that, but when I used it last summer, it made my eye makeup all runny and smudgy so haven't used it since.

  6. Sherrie: I think I might have tried all the Batistes except the new coloured ones. My fave is Fresh because it doesn't really have a distinct smell but Blush would probably be my second fave.

Sultry Red: You really need to get the Express Cleansing Water! I've got Gel Eclat and Baume Eclat and they are great for a deep cleanse but the Eau Micellaire Douceur is the best for quick changeovers.

Cassie: I use the Body Shop Face Mist to set my makeup when I've run out of Fix+ by MAC. They do the same thing so it's not really a big difference. Try holding the face mist a further from your face and spray it from all directions, not just the face forward.

GABY: I really recommend getting Batiste and if you're lucky, you'll find it on offer somewhere! I bought loads when Superdrug reduced them all to 99p for one week!

Jo: I don't have Fleur Power swatches on here but will do a seperate post just for you ;-)
