Hey troops!
I've never done one of these 'haul' things for clothes before but I'm giving it a whirl after picking up a few bits from Primark yesterday.
For anyone reading this who isn't familiar with Primark, it's a budget clothing and homewares chain here in the U.K and has slowly become a one stop shop for great clothes that are semi-cheap. Seeing as I'm going to be broke until the end of December, I popped in yesterday to do a quick top up of clothes for work and you really can't go wrong in there.
So here is what I bought...

I'm sure most of you know how infuriating it can be when shopping in Primark. The store is almost always in a mess, people are always rude, the dress you want is nowhere to be seen and there is always a queue for the tills. However, when you look around and tune all the noise out, the store is always full of some pretty good dresses and tops that are relatively cheap. The one thing I hate about Primark though is it's always hit or miss. When it's good, it's really good but when it's bad, it's crap. Oh and another thing is when you ask someone where they got something and they say Primark or when you see a dress from there in a magazine but when you go looking for it, it's nowhere to be seen. That always annoys me!
What about you lot? Do you even shop in Primark or are you one of those that walks straight past and avoids the madness?
I defintely recommend it especially for the prices and if you're on a budget, like me! Just go with a pair of ear plugs and learn to flick through rails really fast. Lol.
Until next time...
Take care and remember to
beige brown tunic and turquoise dress = wow

The first dress is lovely.
ReplyDeleteI get so flustered in Primark and almost always end up turning round and walking straight back out.
It is always so busy in there and like you said, everything is in a mess. I need to find a time I can go and browse there in peace! xx
Wow you girls are fast on the comments!! Haha.
ReplyDeleteThe turquoise dress was picked by my mum and I know she's going to remind me every time I wear it.
There were a few other bits and bobs that I liked in there but I didn't want to blow £100 in there because I need to be good until the end of December. Lol.
I head over early in the morning. Luckily I don't start work until 11 so I've got the time occasionally! It's almost always empty when it first opens.
ReplyDeleteLOVE that embellished dressed. Saw it a couple weeks back and umm'ed and ahh'ed about it. Think I need to try it on.
I love primark but have the 20mins queues!
ReplyDeleteAgree about it being good or bad im loving it at the minute though x
ReplyDeleteI'm going to go our local one ;) and pick that turquoise number up becuase I'm sure I can wear do it up and wear it as a Punjabi suit, the salwar/pyjamee thing isn't too hard to sew and doesn't take long so I can just whack that together and there we go!
