Hey lovers.
This product has been my 'go-to' product for almost a month now and it rightly deserves a rave on here purely because without it, I'd probably be a neurotic insomniac.
I received this as a gift from a fellow blogger, Twitter and PR friend after my constant moaning on Twitter that I wasn't sleeping well and was getting really fed up. Well, Farrah of Make Up IT Girl came to the rescue and recommended I use the Badger Sleep Balm to get some shut eye.
Did it work?
Hell yes!

Hell yes!

Before I received this, I was getting told to tap a little lavender oil on to my pillow to help me sleep at night but I can't stand the smell of lavender. I can handle it in small doses but having it all over my pillow probably wouldn't help my sleep deprived mind.
The Badger Sleep Balm contains lavender but it isn't as strongly scented as pure oil and is instead mixed with extra virgin olive oil, castor oil, beeswax, and pure essential oils of bergamot, ginger, rosemary, lavender and balsam fir.

It looks like Vaseline but it definitely doesn't smell like Vaseline and it's a lot thinner in consistency too. It does, however, absorb into your temples relatively quickly so you don't end up with a load of waxed up mess in your hair.
The main jist of it is to rub some of the balm into your temples and let the scent of lavender, bergamot, rosemary and ginger whisk you away into the land of sleep without a hitch.
If like me, you tend to spend a lot of your day in front of a laptop or computer screen and end up with a raging headache by the time you're crawling in to bed, then the Sleep Balm will act as a natural aid in helping to ease your mind.
It really does work.
I've never tried a product like this before and I hadn't come across it before either but now that I have, I can't imagine bedtimes without it. The sweet scent of natural organic ingredients has helped me bring some kind of normality to my sleeping patterns which is a major bonus for me. There are still days when I'll be tossing and turning over and over so this isn't the only answer to those sleepless nights but if you're looking for something that can help aid a restful sleep and to ease your mind, then this is it!
Badger Balms are available from HERE.
I am tempted to try some of the other balms that are available to see how they work out because I am really impressed with this little wonder!
I'm off to get some shut eye with my Badger Balm...
Until next time...

ReplyDeleteI have their Ginger and Honey one and it smells so strong that people run away from me when I use it but it works so well if you've got a cold. I want to try some of their other ones.

I love the Badger foot balm. Put it on at night and wake up with new feet!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know Badger did so many different balms until recently! I really like the idea of balms for different uses so I think I shall be definitely investing in more of these!!
