NOTD: Eyeko 'Vintage Polish'

Hi all.

It is so bloody cold outside so I thought I'd get a kick on some blog posts and the Christmas Gift Guide that I've got going on at the moment. I seem to be on a pretty good kick at the moment so I'm going to keep at it for as long as I possible can!

Anyway, today's NOTD is brought to you by Eyeko and is called Vintage Polish.

I absolutely love this colour!

It's not another jade green and it's not blue but it is this sea green-ish colour which actually reminds me of those little blue boxes from Tiffany's.... Oh how I wish for a new little blue box with some sparkly inside... *daydreams*

As with all Eyeko nailpolishes, the consistency is great and 3 coats of Vintage Polish later, you're left with a nice opaque finish which was topped off with a coat of Seche Vite. I have no idea why it was called Vintage Polish when there's nothing remotely vintage about it but I don't care. It looks fab!
I did have one issue with my nailpolish and that was with the brush. All my Eyeko nailpolishes are great and the bristles on the brushes are long and even. That was not the case with my Vintage Polish. It looks like someone has hacked at the bristles because they're only half there and all different length :-S
I didn't check the nailpolish when I got it so when I actually decided to use it yesterday, I wasn't a happy bunny. I'll be emailing the peoples at Eyeko to ask them what's going on with their production line because I seem to have been at the receiving end of someone elses cock-up. Not good.

Has anyone else had that problem with Eyeko nailpolishes? I've never had the problem before so it could be a one off but it's a bit strange anyway.

Until next time...
