Another Eyeko nailpolish from my dinky haul a few weeks back and I wasn't too sure if I would like this colour as much as I did the others purely because of the colour. It's more on the darker side of life and although I'm not impartial to the off 'Lincoln Park After Dark' look, I wasn't sure about the dary army green kind of shade.
Anywho, this is what it looks like:

Anywho, this is what it looks like:
After 2 coats it goes on a lot darker than what you see in the bottle which is the case with most nailpolishes anyway.Okay, so it isn't as bad as I thought it might have been but more people have thought it was black than the dark murky green that it is. I'm not sure if I like that or not because I spend most of my time telling these same people the difference between the two shades. Either way, it is still a pretty autumn winter colour but I think it might light even better with a matte top coat so that's something I shall be experimenting with today ;-)

ReplyDeleteit does look slightly black, but i kinda like that :p
I've used matte topcoat over it, it's a pretty dark bottle green :) not quite black. So it doesn't really add to the colour it's just a twist! x
