Hey all.
I had a major moment on Friday night. I mean, beyond major. This moment was EPIC. It was the moment where I successfully applied fake lashes without doing any of the following:
1. Poking myself in the eye
2. Sticking them on wonky
and
3. Making them look like they're about to drop off
I know someone is going to be wondering how I'm not already a pro at falsies seeing as I own a fair few pairs, but it's hard! I have sausage fingers which means teeny tiny fiddly things are not always safe in my hands. Seriously, they're not. This being said, Friday night saw me successfully apply accent lashes to my eyes without seriously injuring myself hence why this is majorly epic (See what I did there! ;-))

This is what the lashes looked like:
I think I got them as close as possible to my lash line so they blended in and the cross hatched design of them made them look real.
The finished look:

I love accent lashes as they add a teeny bit of oomph and a whole lot of fluttery-ness to the eyes so for a lashphobe like me, they're ideal.
Surprisingly, I used the glue that came with these lashes and it kept them in tact (and not stuck somewhere obvious on my face) all night so I'm very impressed. I've had a lot of people recommend Duo Eyelash Glue so I'll probably give that a whirl at one point or the other but I'm not really fussed.
I was sent these lashes from Eyelashes Direct which has cheap and cheerful lashes which are of a great quality considering the low prices!
What do you lot think? Did I succeed in my mission for false lash flutterings or did I fail miserably and am getting a bit ahead of myself? Drop it in the box at the bottom :-)
Until next time...
