NOTD: Barry M '306 - Blueberry'

Hi all.

I very rarely branch out into the world of glitter and spangly nails but I've seen so many people pull off the 'Lorraine Stanick' nails that I thought I'd give it a try too. I have no idea if I've done it right or if I completely freestyled it and got it wrong but oh well. I tried!

I paired OPI's 'Mad As A Hatter' with Barry M's 'Blueberry' which gave me this:

I completely forgot I owned this shade but saw it hiding at the bottom of my nailpolish box so thought I'd give it a try. I'm discovering a new found love for Barry M nailpolishes. You get a pretty good quality nailpolish for a pretty good price so you can't really go wrong. I know that some of the nailpolishes can go on a bit streaky but that definitely wasn't the case with this number.
One coat goes on relatively well and for those that are pressed for time, you can probably get away with a single swipe. I always do two coats just to be on the safe side because I hate it when it starts to chip after the first day.
Along with Models Own, I think Barry M nailpolishes are going to become staple pieces in my collection. There are so many different shades to choose from and Boots and Superdrug always have some sort of a deal on which makes it wallet friendly :)

With regards to the 'Lorraine Stanick'-esque glitter nail. Did I get it right or should I just leave it to the pros? Lol.

I need someone to let me know. I don't want to go around looking like a plonker with one glitter nail!
