Indian OOTD & EOTD 4

Hi all!

I'm probably going to have quite a few Indian OOTD's coming up on the blog because it's wedding mania for me at the moment. Well, not MY wedding but I've got a wedding this weekend and another one next weekend so every day will probably be another Indian outfit.

Some of you may be wondering why I would need to wear an Indian outfit every day... Well, Indian weddings tend to take up the better part of a week as there's a different party every night. I know. We tend to get a bit excited. There's always some sort of a prayer ceremony, then a ladies night where they all sing, dance and get henna done, then one where the bride gets her henna done and then when the bride gets her wedding bangles put on. Basically, every night is an excuse to party and drink and have fun.

Todays Indian OOTD was from Saturday night where we celebrated my cousin getting engaged. I'd actually forgotten that I had this number stored away in my wardrobe until I had my huge clearout a couple of weeks ago. This is what it looked like:

A black sari with a dainty pink border with tiny mirrors and a hot pink halter neck blouse.

The back of my blouse. Mind the jiggly bits.

The makeup I had on:
- Lancome Hydra Zen Teinte Neurocalm (Tinted moisturiser)
- Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer
- NARS 'Laguna' Bronzer
- MAC 'Stereo Rose' MSF as a blush
- MAC 'Nude Rose' lipstick from the DSquared2 collection
- MAC 'Love Nectar' lipglass

My eye makeup:

- Urban Decay Primer Potion
- 'Thanks So Muchness' from the Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland palette
- 'Mushroom' from the Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland palette
- Some random black eyeshadow
- Lancome Artliner
- Eyeko Big Eyes mascara
- MAC 'Smoulder' kohl pencil
- MAC Cream Colour Base in Hush

I had other plans for my eye makeup but it didn't really go to plan and I ended up having to take it all and starting again. What I originally wanted to do was a pink/grey smoky eye but I didn't have the time to figure it out so I improvised and it all went downhill from there. Lol.

In the end I had to settle for doing a really rushed smoky eye but without going too smoky where it took over my whole face. If I had more time I would have blended it all together but considering I only had 5 mins, I like to think I didn't do too bad of a job!

What do you all think? What would you have done differently?

Until next time...
