Pet Peeves...

Hi all!

Today's post is a bit of a rant and my inspiration was my journey through Bond Street tube station. Really. As I made my way through the crowds of people, I realised that I have some serious pet peeves that I need to vent about so here goes...

1. Sweaty people on the tube

Seriously, I'm not exaggerating.. The thought of sweaty people on the tube makes me want to throw up. Big time!
I completely understand that by the end of the working day and being in and out of the office, people are bound to be a little bit sweaty.. It happens to the best of us.. But hopping on the tube with beads of sweat clinging on to your hair for dear life is just down right NASTY. I know I've been a tad sweaty on the tubes these days but not to the point where I smell and would go round with a sweat patch on my back. Seriously people, PICK UP SOME DAMN DEODRANT!

2. Slow walking people on the underground
There's nothing worse than wanting to power walk from one platform to the other but getting stuck by a slow moving horse that trots along as a snails pace!
It pisses me off!!!
I suggest that Boris Johnson introduces a 2 lane system on the London Underground. There can be a Slow Mo lane for those that want to go for a gander and take in the sights of the buskers and movie posters (These people tend to be tourists but you do get the random local stopping to looking around.) The second should be for power walkers that just want to get the F out of there (I fall into the latter).

3. Mahooosive suitcases

With London being a tourist hot spot and the Piccadilly line being the only line from Heathrow Airport to everywhere else, it is inevitable and unavoidable that you will encounter a coach load of tourists at least every other day. I have nothing against that. Welcome to London people! Look out for pickpockets, the drunk bloke that will fall asleep in his drool and the men with sweaty backs.
What bugs me is when they leave all their luggage in the middle of the carriage. This isn't an obstacle course, woman! If you were to neatly stand it up in the corner like you're meant to, nobody will run with it. Even if they tried, they wouldn't get very far because the tube is always so jam packed!

Yes, it does look like this at most times in the morning and after 5pm. Your luggage isn't going anywhere!
