Products I'm Loving Right Now!

Hi di hi campers!

How are you all doing? Today has been a busy day in my house but I still made time to sit down and do one of these product loving affairs for you :)
First of all, I'd like to welcome all the new followers to my blog! Thanks for stopping by and dropping a comment or two. New faces and followers are always welcome here so jump on board. This is my 100th post on the blog so WOOOO!
Secondly, a special thank you to HollyYM for her lovely guest post on her Spring Saviours. I've been reading Holly's blog for a while now so I was thrilled when she said that she wouldn't mind guest posting. We loved having you here so come again soon!!

Ok, now for the fun stuff.

These are the products that I'm loving at the moment...

1. Stella McCartney 'Nude' - Absolutely love this fragrance! It's really light and floral so it's perfect for days in the sunshine and we do seem to be getting a fair bit of that here in the UK. I have no idea what the notes are (I told you I'm rubbish at fragrance reviews) but if you don't like your perfume to be overbearing and something that will linger all day, this is definitely it.

2. EOS Lip Balm in 'Honeysuckle Honeydew' - I'm sure everyone has seen these cuties in Michelle Phan's youtube videos and blogs all over the place but these are great. I picked up two from Duane Reade in New York and am loving it. If you read my 'In and Out' post, you'll know that I'm anti-Vaseline at the moment so this wonderous ball of balm is perfect and there's none of that horrible 'digging-your-finger-into-a-tub' business!

3 & 4. Lancome Hydra Zen Neurocalm moisturising cream and night cream - I've been using these products for a month now and can't imagine going back to good ol' Nivea Soft (I prefer to keep my moisturisers low key, well not anymore but I did). Having used these products for almost a month now, I can safely say that my skin has never felt better. Don't get me wrong, I'm still prone to the odd spot or two but my skin was getting a bit on the dry side so these are helping to quench it's thirst and infuse some life back into it.

5. OPI 'Gargantuan Green Grape' - Another one of those products that I'm sure you've come across on blogs galore but this shade is just amazing. It's not a mint green and it's not a lime green but it is more of a yellow parrot green. It goes on a touch too thin on the first coat but 2 coats later and it's beautiful! If you're looking for a change from all the ice cream shades out there, then try this one out. You won't regret it!

6. Bare Escentuals 'Buxom Lash' mascara - The brush is amazing and the actual formula of the mascara is even better. It takes a lot for a mascara to impress me but I definitely was with this beauty. I'm not too sure if it's available in the UK (It might be but I haven't seen it on any counters) but if you can get hold of this one, then do it.

7. Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush lipgloss 'Slice of Heaven' - Not a fantastic product, but it is a product that I've been using quite a lot lately mainly due to the colour and it's staying power. Lipglosses are a bit hit and miss for me because some are gorgeous in colour but disgustingly sticky whilst others aren't sticky but their staying power is rubbish. This one, on the other hand, sticks (literally) around for a while so if you're out and about and can't be bothered to retouch every 15 minutes then it's a winner.

8. Lancome Artliner - I love liquid liners. I love liquid liners with a thin brush applicator. I now love liquid liners with a soft felt applicator. Having seen this product in countless magazines, I now know why it is raved about. The applicator might not be everyones cup of tea because it isn't a hard tip like the old Laque Liner, but it is so easy to work with that I can't imagine not using it now. I've hardly picked up my old Bourjois Lineur Pinceau since I've had this beauty in my collection and I have a feeling that I won't be going back anytime soon.

9. Superdrug MUA blusher - When Superdrug released their MUA range with everything priced at £1 there were many hopes and dreams of what we all wanted it to be. Mostly, we were right. The products weren't that great and you literally got what you paid for. When I first had a play with this product I wasn't so sure I liked it. It felt powdery to touch and smelt like talc so I had a feeling that it would look 'cakey' when on the skin. Oh how wrong I was. When applied with a soft hand, it looks surprisingly good. It has a very slight sheen to it which acts as a faux highlight, eliminating the need to layer a highlighter on top. Plus, with it only being £1 you don't mind tossing it around in your handbag!

So, what products are you loving right now? You know what to do... Drop it in the box!

3 stiletto lovers had something to say::

  1. Great favourites.
I think I will have to go have a smell of the Stella 'Nude' it is such a pretty bottle as well.

Also I really need to get a EOS lip balm, like you say no dipping your fingers in and out of a tin.
