Indian OOTD & EOTD 2

Hi all.

I've got another Indian outfit of the day for you!
Last night was Mandy's brothers civil wedding so we use it as another excuse to party and have a few drinks... Well, not me because I was driving but you get the idea ;-)

This was what I was prancing around in....

Shopping for an Indian suit can be such a pain in the bum sometimes because there is so much to choose from so I prefer to take my time and look around first. Sounds weird but the wrong suit can make or break you. Ok, I'm exaggerating, but when you go to a party or wedding a lot of the women tend to be very openly catty about how the others are dressed so you want to make sure you look the part!

I'm sure you all want to see what my eye makeup looked like so here goes:

I used my Urban Decay Alice In Wonderland Book of Shadows for this one and the Beauty UK palette with all the bright shades. It's nothing amazing because I didn't want it to look too heavy because the outfit was white so a smoky eye probably wouldn't have looked right with it.

You can't see the rest of my face but it was what I do all time:

- MAC Select Tint SPF 15 tinted moisturizer
- Mally concealer
- NARS 'Laguna' bronzer to contour cheekbones
- MAC 'Ripe Peach' blush ombre on the apples of my cheeks
- Lancome L'Absolue Rouge lipstick in 152 'Rouge Mars' - Gorgeous coral shade
- Lancome Juicy Tube in 31 'Peche' - Lightly tinted coral shade

That's it! :-)

Have you been trying any bright coloured eyeshadow combos lately? I want to hear all about it so drop your ideas in the box at the bottom.

Take care and remember to

  1. love everything about this. definitely my fave indian outfit so far. love the glitter in the dress, love love love. makeup is like you went out and buy it at the same time as the dress. whoever said you should not mix outfit and eyemakeup can go to hell haha, cos this is gorgeous. what have you got on the other wrist (you know, not the wrist with the watch on)

  2. Am what mascara are you using now-is it still the lancome one?
You know my obsession w/ mascaras... Funny story: I recently bought an Yves ROcher one only to realise at home I got the blue one *facepalm*

  4. Thanks for commenting ladies!

@Liloo - When it comes to indian outfits then I prefer to have coordinating eye makeup to the outfit. It just makes it look put together. I've got bangles on the other hand. I have so many different colours to match all my different indian outfits :)

@Olia - I think with this EOTD I was using Lancome Virtuose Black Carat. It has a full spoon shaped brush so it coats all the lashes and gives them some oomph! I've not tried the Yves Rocher mascara.. I'm not if I can get hold of it here. Will have to look on eBay.
