NYC Haul: Part 2 - Clothes

Hi-di-hi my loves!

So this is part 2 of my NYC haul and is all the clothes that I picked up. I kind of got shoppers block when I was out there and it took me ages to finally pick stuff. It wasn't that I didn't like what I saw but there was nothing that excited me. I don't like to buy just anything for the sake of it, especially not clothes. I've already filled the wardrobes in my room with clothes that have never seen the light of day so I'm trying out a smarter way of shopping.

Most of the stuff I bought is pretty standard but that was the look I was aiming for. Stuff that I wear every day and that I'd make the most use out of. I tried on dress after dress but I knew that I wouldn't really ponce around London with it on because I'm more of a jeans and tshirt kind of gal. I'm sure you all know that by now.

This is what my loot consisted of:

A pretty dress from Forever 21. I figured I could dress it up or down so would get a lot of wear out of it.

I'm really liking this whole one shoulder thing at the moment so when I saw this American Rag dress, I loved it! The skirt half of it had me a bit worried because it looked a bit too busy for my taste but once I tried it on and paired it with my Guess gladiator stilettos.. Well, it was love at first sight!

Another great find from Forever 21 was this gorgeous nudey top with a chiffon frill and bow around the neck. When worn it looks a litttttle bit see through but doesn't look too bad when paired with a black tulip skirt.

I'm a fan of long tops and leggings in the Summer (None of that camel toe business for me!) so this sleeveless cotton number was right up my alley. It's lightweight and perfect for lazy Sundays at the shops.

Hollister and Abercrombie & Fitch are pretty self explanatory. They're jst simple tees for everyday wear.

Yellow polo tshirt by the American Polo Association. I'm loving the collars and ruched (There's that word again!) sleeves.

I'm starting to see a pattern with this ruched (I KNOW!) design on clothes. Although it has the ability to make my arms look chunky, so far so good! Oh and this number was from Forever 21 too.

These were probably my biggest and bestest find while I was in NY, a pair of J Brand jeans! A few months back, my dad offered to buy me a pair of J Brands but I just couldn't accept a £200 pair of jeans from him (but getting him to buy me a pair of Louboutins is perfectly acceptable!)

I got these from Century 21 for $80 which is about £50 or something so definate bargain there!!

You might laugh at these next two finds but I get excited over pyjamas so I had to buy these when I saw them :)

David & Goliath 'Its All About Me' pyjamas!!

and...

These cute Mickey Mouse pj's! Well, actually they're from the menswear department but they're comfortable as hell!!!

Well, thats it! It's really not a lot but I did get some serious shoppers block when I was out there. It frustrated the life out of me because I wanted to shop til I dropped but it just wasn't happening out there for me. I let myself down :(

Never mind though... I'm more than positive that I will fully redeem myself in Westfields on the next payday!

Next up is the makeup post so keep your eyes peeled for that one too!!
