Hope you're all doing well and behaving yourself. So I still have no idea on whether or not I'm going to be flying tomorrow to New York but it doesn't really look like I will be. I was upset about it at first but I think I'm kind of over it. There's not much that can be done about it so I'll just have to reschedule my holiday for July. I'm planning July because I can't travel in May or June and I want to take full advantage of a £293 ticket to New York in a peak season where prices are usually a lot steeper. Take that STA Travel!
Anyway, I'm guessing that most of you have seen or atleast heard about Superdrug's new makeup range which is priced at £1. I kid you not. Every single product is £1! Sounds like every recessionistas dream come true!
Having received a message from the lovely Superdrug people this morning saying that the range, originally called MUA, was now live on the site... I took a gander over there and had a look at what all the fuss was about.

First impression, WOW! There are plenty of products and shades to choose from and they cover most bases too. Mascara, liquid liner, eyeshadows, eye dusts, lipsticks to lipgloss. There is definetly something for everyone. There are pearl shadows and matte shadows, glitter liquid liners and plain liquid liners. It seems to be the perfect range for anyone just starting out or on a budget.
Although the range is hitting stores on Friday, I couldn't help myself and ended up making an order for a couple of bits and bobs this morning. As soon as the products come in, I'll have a play and then let you know my 2 cents worth.

Hmmm probably not, just cos I bloody have ehough as it is. I may check out the nail polishes if there are any shades unique enough to warrant parting with my pocket change though.
ReplyDeleteHey girlie! I hadn't even heard of this makeup range!!!? haha.
ReplyDeleteI am meant to be going New York two weeks tmr and I dont even think that I will make it then. It's so dissapointing! Hope that I will be able to re-schedule like you. xx
Oh I've picked up a few bits from the range last week. I have abit of a problem with nail varnishes and got 6 really pretty shades along with some lip gloss, lipstick, eyeshadows and blusher. It total I spent £12 which is a bargain! Been using the blusher for a few days and its going ok - although I am finding that I need to use quite abit before I can see a any colour.
ReplyDeleteI would definately say that this is more of an everyday work range.
Will be doing a revieww in the next few days on my blog
