NOTD/Swatch: Models Own 'Lemon Meringue'

Hi all.

So as we all know, the pastel trend is back with a vengence this Spring and I couldn't be happier!
Although I don't tend to opt for pastel colours in my wardrobe, I do love pastels on my nails.

It seems like all the beauty brands that we know and love are churning out pastel nailpolishes, lipglosses and lipsticks in a bid to brighten our days.

Back in January, the lovely people over at Models Own thought they'd treat us with a 50% off sale so I took full advantage and picked up 4 nailpolishes for £12. Good stuff! I've already done a post on 2 of the shades 'Utopia' and 'Fuzzy Peach' which I'm sure you can find somewhere around my blog.

I finally got round to swatching 'Lemon Meringue' and am completely taken in by it. It went on a bit streaky but after a second coat the streaks were long gone. Thank God!

I'm not sure on the lasting power of it as I've only had it on for a day but so far so good. Will let you know how long it lasts before it chips.

So this is what the colour looks like on. Excuse the disgusting length of my nails. They seem to have stalled in growing so I'm having to make do with stumpy nails. Boo.
