Meet Jimmy!

Hi all.

No this isn't a dream come true meet with Jimmy Choo.. Been there, done that, got the photo and blog post to prove it. Haha!

I would like to introduce you all to Jimmy. My Aircast Pneumatic Walker Boot. He was named by @Natsr_UK on Twitter. I have no idea why Jimmy but its grown on me and the boot.

Any of you that follow me on Twitter will know that I've been having a lot of trouble with my right ankle since I got back from my holiday in Egypt in December. Well having seen 2 of my GPs about it, both of who were completely useless, I had to go to my private consultant and sort the damn ankle out.

After the first consult I was sent for an MRI. Thankfully though I wasn't compeltely engulfed in the tunnel. That shit is scary!! Anyway, the MRI showed that I had some sort of tendon damage to my inner ankle bone and that its one wrong step away from breaking.

Breaking!?! I think my mouth dropped when the consultant told me. Apparently this type of injury is usually seen in athletes or active people as such but what was my excuse?? The only exercise I get is walking around at work or walking around Westfields. So my options were either to put my ankle in a plaster (No chance!) or the boot. You can see which one I opted for!

Its heavy, ugly and uncomfortable but this is the one time that I'm going to have to bite the bullet and put function before fashion. I haven't worn my Louboutins in over 3 months so if this is what I have to do in order to get my tootsies back into those red soles, then so be it!

I couldn't resist taking a photo of this. Its just one extreme to the other!

FYI, I did attempt to totter around with one of my Louboutins one and my boot but I almost toppled over. I think I'll wait until my ankle is fully healed before I put those skyscrapers back on.

Just thought I'd keep you all up to date with what I've been up to lately!!

I'm going to try and post those Alice In Wonderland looks up at some point this week. I did try last week but I just couldn't get the looks right so I got frustrated and gave up. Haha.

Hope all is well with the rest of yous lot. Until next time...

Take care and remember to
