Request: Arabian Eyes

Hi all.

This must be your lucky day because its the second post I'm doing in one night! Woo I'm on a roll!

I've never had a request to do a certain look or anything so I'm not sure what the protocol is. This is my first time having done one of these so don't blame me if I don't get it right the first time round. Its a process of trial and error.

So, I got a request from one of my followers on Twitter, @Neesee02, asking me how to do a simple Arabic Eye kind of look. I don't know the correct terminology for the look, if there is one, so I'm going to make my own up! :)

Anyway, this is what I came up with using liquid eyeliner. The first pic is of a thick Arabian Eye and the second is a thinner Arabian Eye.

I also thought I'd add a bit of colour just to bring some more attention to the eyes. So I added a flash of blue. The eyeshadow I used is MAC's 'Clarity'.

I put the blue just under my waterline so not to take attention away from the defined top lash line.

I put the blue eyeshadow on the top lash line to add more definition to the black.

Of course you don't have to use any colour at all. Arabian Eyes are always on trend and black liquid eyeliner never goes out of fashion!

Maybelline 'Falsies' Mascara in Black

Bourjois Liner Pinceau in Black (Its got a really thin brush instead of a felt tip)

Collection 2000 Fast Stroke Eyeliner in Black (Felt tip to fill in the eyeliner on the top lash line)

MAC 'Clarity' eyeshadow (I think it may be discontinued but there are plenty of dupes out there)
