Its Been A While

Hi all.

For the last few posts, I seem to start with same old intro about how I've been really busy and haven't updated the blog blah blah blah but its true. I've been pulling in extra shifts at work so I'm always shattered by the time I get through the door.

Seeing as today was my day off, I thought I'd FINALLY update the blog with a few bits and bobs. I don't want to make this post super long because then it gets boring so I'll update it over the next few days with products raves, reviews and other ramblings.

So as you all know, the MAC Holiday 2009 collection came out here in the UK on the 5th November. I had seen videos and pics on other blogs from people in the US and was getting kind of excited about what was to come. How wrong was I?!?!

I popped into Westfields, London on the 6th November and my first stop was MAC. Now, I'm usually really enthusiastic when it comes to new collections because most of the stuff is limited edition and is only released again as repromotes.

Personally, I though the collection was so.. whats the word? Um, blah. By that I mean that it was so boring and nothing particularly screamed at me. I was excited for the Mineralise Kits but when I saw them, they didn't really make me jump for joy. Neither did the eyeshadow palettes, lip palettes or the face palettes. I didn't think it was something that couldn't be duped for using other MAC or even non-MAC products.

The only thing I did purchase was the 'Partial To Pink' Cremesheen Glass, which is a repromote from last year. Its a yellow pink that looks great in the day and at night. I've worn it every day since buying it and am still in love with it.

I actually prefer the Cremesheen Glass to the Dazzleglass Creme. I just think its less sticky lasts longer before wearing out. :)

Let me know what you all love from the new Magic, Mirth and Mischief collection by MAC... It might make me go back and have another look at the products.
