Trying To Find The Perfect Mascara

Woke up this morning and done my usual routine... Roll out of bed, clean my room, shower, eat, blah blah blah. I'm sure you can all figure out the rest.
Then came the moment all women love... Putting on the face. I say 'putting on the face' because each day can be something different. I might wake up one morning and decide I don't feel like wearing make up (hardly ever!) and just settle for a skin brightening tinted moisturiser and mascara with a slick of lipgloss. Other days might call for a full face of make up. It just depends on your mood.

Anyway, today was a day when I woke up and thought "Hmm sod the whole face today. I feel like being a simpleton". Now these days happen very rarely although I'm starting to think I should perhaps give the full face a miss sometimes and let me skin breathe!

I dabbed on my MAC Studio Finish Concealer in NW30 around my eyes and blemishes. Tidied up my eyebrows. Then, as I reached for my draw full of mascaras (All of which I will review some day soon. I promise) I realised that I still haven't found the perfect mascara.
To me, shopping for mascara is like an everyday thing. I just can't help but getting sucked into the beauty circus that is Superdrug or Boots and seeing whats the new fad that will supposedly make my lashes look like their falsies.

Every girl wants the 'false lash effect'. Hell, they even named a mascara after it!

So as I shuffled my way through my draw of mascaras, I noticed that there wasn't a single mascara that I reached for more than 3 times. Everyday a new mascara and therefore a new fad to chase after. All I want in a mascara is length and thickness. Did I get it? NOPE!


There must be a mascara out there that can make my sparse and crappy excuse of eyelashes the lustre they crave for!

From the Colussus, to the Stiletto. From the Max to the Zoom. There just doesn't seem to be a mascara that I can proudly say "This Does What Its Meant To"!
